Day 11. First splatbook you begged your DM to approve.

Oh my, first splat book? I owned both Unearthed Arcana and The Dungeoneer's Survival Guide, but I don't recall begging involved for either my players or as a player.

The crowd I was running with in Conyers, GA pretty much had the same things and we were all pretty much aware of the offerings in any books, though I would be dishonest to say I remember much about the DSG save the cool mapping techniques and anything other than the new classes in UA. I had players toying with Barbarians and the Cavalier (was Thief-Acrobat in that—to the Google—yes, yes it was). 

Oh, one thing about UA that seems imprinted on my mind is a piece of black and white art of a tome opened to a page. Hidden in the arcane scribblings of the pages are messages. One specific message reads: Send me money.

No other begging was otherwise involved as far as I recall.
