Day 10. First gaming magazine you ever bought (Dragon, Dungeon, White Dwarf, etc.).

It is not an exaggeration to say my first gaming magazine was probably Dragon #92 with the Den Beauvais cover, Bridge of Sorrows. A dragon flames a party questing an abandoned keep (or that's how I saw the bridge's destination; it was mostly inconsequential that the damsel was being taken by the dragon, but I liked her choice of attire for the quest).

The cover is almost an iconic image. I'm pretty sure I also had no idea what many of the articles offered; in 1984 I was just finding my feet in D&D and playing with the Basic Set in the room I shared with my brother.

And it was sometime c. 1984 that I was getting my driver's license—learning to drive a stick shift in a tan Toyota Corolla—and getting my first jobs, finally landing at Dragonware Hobbies in 1985–1986 and being exposed to WFRP

It was White Dwarf though that I subscribed too. And I wasn't even into 'eavy Metal music. Go figure.
