Weidemarkt
Weidemarkt is a small village on the River Reik. Situated directly across from Carroburg, Weidemarkt is the unfortunate bearer of effulent runoff from its larger Middenland neighbor.
There is a ferry in Weidemarkt.
The heroes meet Ulrich in Weidemarkt, and Thuramir, the dwarf, befriends him, for reasons that will become obvious. Ulrich is a tavern owner in Weidemarkt and a secret admirer of the finest dwarf ales. Ulrich was a senior emissary in the court of the Markgraf of Helmgart, serving as a liaison to the dwarf clans in the Grey Mountains, he obtained some rare kegs in service.
While returning from the expedition to the lost elven settlement near Schilderheim, the heroes stopped again at Ulrich's tavern. Ulrich shared a keg of Mordrin's Triple Black, a rare ale with Thuramir, Martin and Ravendil. Martin got thoroughly drunk on large mugs of the TB.
Ulrich engaged the heroes to return a Rune of Fortitude to the Clan Kargin in the Grey Mountains.
