Cloaked Men
The cloaked men made their first appearance outside of Holthusen, where they attacked the party of Ravendil Shadowstar, Martin Aulenbach, Hartungus "Hart" von Roftman, Agathe Helermann, Berthold Menckenberg, and Meinhardtus "Mein" Menckenberg on their way to an elven ruin. The only clues to their identities at the time were that they were human, and bearing a note that instructed that they capture the elf alive.
They reappeared in Altdorf, where Ravendil and Martin managed to allude them.
Once again they were seen in Helmgart. This time Ravendil and Martin attempted to capture the cloaked men. Ravendil for his part was forced to beat his man to a pulp on the open street before he could be detained for questioning. Martin's man got away, to be captured later after being betrayed by his confederate.
The only information so far revealed about these mysterious men is that they may or may not all be working for the same employer, who is suspected to be one of the walking rats that the party has dealt with on several occasions. It is also known that their employer is behind the plague in Helmgart and desperatly wants Ravendil to be captured alive.
