Black Book - Exorcism of Demonic Forces
The book is a first hand account of a daemon possession, observed by a priest of Verena. The description is explicit. In fact, a few pages are stained with what might be vomit, blood or urine, maybe all three. One can't be sure. The exorcism clearly effected the priest in a dramatic way as the tone of the account reaches highs and lows. Martin Aulenbach obtained this book in Turris Vigilans after tense negotiation with the priests of Verena, and a significant donation to the temple.
Effects
Reading the book allows the reader to gain black knowledge according to the following:
1. For 400XP, you get only the Academic Knowledge (Daemonology).
2. If you want Speak Arcane Language (Daemonology), the book possesses a smattering of enough words, enough to earn you the skill for 1 insanity point + 300XP, but now the words burn your mind.
3. The detail of the spell used by the Exorcist in the journal will get you the Lesser Magic (Exorcism) talent, but only at the 3 Insanity Points + 100XP trade.
4. You get all of the above for the 4 Insanity Point trade.
