Altdorf

The capitol of the Empire and a major trading city in its own right. Situated at a major fork of the River Reik, this highly defensible city is the jewel of the Empire. Within its confines lie the Emperor's Palace, the Colleges of Magic, the greatest of temples to Sigmar, and the fortress of the Templars of Sigmar.

Our party ventured here in hopes that the humans, the current keepers of this land, could muster the strength and faith to secure the artifact from the Elven Warpstone Prison, as its elven keepers had long since faded from the pages of history. Martin Aulenbach, the Sigmarite initiate, managed to gain the assistance of the Templars of Sigmar, and a doomed expidition was launched down the River Reik to recover the artifact. Few would survive, and the artifact would remain hidden within its prison.
